    Nic Fosdike

Just got home. What a brilliant performance!

Leo was simply sensational, as was Craig Bolton. For Gherig to get none and Reiwolt just one (late in the 4th) shows how dominant the Swans back were.

I hope today's performance silences the critics of Nic Fosdike. He was excellent today - probably in our best 5. His disposal was great, both under pressure and in the clear. He laid some great tackles and worked hard all day. By the end I'd say he had a direct hand in about 5 goals.

    Well done Swans!!!!

Fosdike did some good work today, including too great passes into BBBBH twice.

Leo Barry was exceptional, lets hope the ankle pulls up alright for next week.

Bally was great until his hammy problem.

Buchanan has class written all over him, even when in trouble he kept his cool.

C Bolton was simplt courageous, Lucky not to be knocked out cold with all those hits to the head.

Kennelly was strong in his run out of defence.

    Hall had another good game.

Willo and J Bolton were always in the thick of it.

I don't think there were too many passengers today.

Fantastic effort all over the ground. Esp. the D50.

You forgot to mention Nicks - he played well too.
A game I will love to watch over and over and over.
Can't believe how well they all did L'Loughlin and Fosdike goal.
Buchanan, Ball, Hall, Ablett kicked well - tackling by all tremendous. Both Boltons - Craig is very courageous and Jude did extremely well. He was pole axed twice Eade said on the radio. Hope we have no tribunal trips this week. Think St Kilda may though.
      Love those Swans

leo barry and barry hall were the two best
i thought ball was awesome and then doyle lifted when he got injured even ablett and mcveigh were great i think we won because all 22 players were good

Sorry Janpa, I did forget Nicks. He did have a good game. I think the Saints defenders were confused between him and Hall (almost nude nuts).

I doubt there will be any reports, although Black's head high charge on Craig Bolton looked pretty reckless, downright dangerous.

Mostly it was good hard footy.

what about J Bolton's hit on Dal Santo (I think it was him) from a kick-in, which caused a mini push and shove? I havent seen any replays, apart from the unclear one at the game.

Didn't look that bad, BUT you never know with the reports these days.

I was wondering about that too. Saw it and cringed a little at the thought of video replays-Jude's arm (from memory) looks like its being used for the purposes of striking rather than contesting. Pretty tough game though. I wouldn't be surprised if none of the physicallity is raised at the tribunal level.

On the telly it looked like Bolton saw the ball comming and went to punch it. No intent to hit the player and should not be reported.

Interesting that he's now seems to be playing free of all that shoulder tape.

Bolton was clearly trying to punch the ball.

                        Should not be reported.

However, you know what the tribunal are like...

As for Fosdike, did his usual Jekyll & Hyde effort - today was one of his good games. Early on he made a couple of mistakes and I thought it was going to be a bad one, but did some really good things after that. Some very nice kicks to forwards.
