We're going to have to get more in then. I reckon there needs to be a pretty substantial 'Goodes shouldn't/couldn't play at CHB' pie.

After yesterday I'm eyeing off a slice of the 'Ross Lyons was a huge mistake' variety, but I think that'll probably stay fresh for a few more weeks!

I don't see how stating he will be good for a trade is credit!?

I don't LOVE every player, I just don't feel the need to be putting players down week in week out, because god knows it comes around to bite you later. Also, I have never taken part in a Wharfe bashing.

Well done Red! I do remember you calling for Goodes to play CHB about 2-3 weeks before it happened.

              A softie for Matthew Nicks

definately a good call Red. I remember arguing against you saying that his creative flair would be stifled and his lack of accountability would be a problem. Obviously, I was wrong.

I wonder if there will be a Warfe-flavoured pie any time soon?

We all judge players on their performance without regard for any circumstance which may be affecting it. Never mind if he?s playing hurt and the coaching staff judge there?s nobody better to take his place. Never mind if his mssus has just walked out with the best mate. I always liked Stevie, guess that was because I was a big Fleetwood Mac fan. If a good footballer drops easy marks regularly, we should think about why before we start bagging him. In Stevie?s case a bad back.

But, if I think a player is dogging it or showing a lack of courage then he gets the full works. But if a guy is out of form ot hurt but trying his guts out then give him a break.

BTW I called Fossie ?footsteps? for a long time because I doubted (and still do) his guts under fire. So if he is a superstar in 3 yrs then I will eat my slice.

I have put on a couple of Kilos since I put this thread up.

About to tuck into a bit of the Ross Lyon pie.

What about the "Maxfield over the hill" pie, and, dare I say it, the Doyle can't play humble pie may be on the menu soon.

Cheers Taurus, Dendol It's nice to get at least one good call in every once and a while!

Poor old NATO. If he was ever to turn it it around, I reckon we would all be making ourselves sick on that flavour.
