Here's where the Goodes at CHB bit gets interesting.
I don't think Goodes will play on Tredrea.
Having to mind Tredrea would be too limiting - better Goodes take a secondary forward and float around the defensive 50.

Agree. From what we've seen so far, Leo can play on anyone in the comp. Small forward, or monster gorilla, it doesnt matter. I reckon we should give Leo the job, cos then he can expose Tredrea on the rebound. And the issue we had with Leo playing too deep in defense against Gehrig and Lloyd wont be a problem now because Tredrea will play further up the ground.
Goodes is just not mobile enough on his crook knee to take on Tredrea.

i know goodes has a bad knee but i dont think i will make the mistake of thinking him too slow or proppy to beat anyone... he was awesome today and i think he can beat tredrea

Was thinking it would be this match up too. Leo would just have him taking his possessions way up the wing and he'd have to earn each and every one of them.
Port are far from their best at the moment and Brisbane will have steam rolled them by the end of the game. They should be tired from both the game and the long trip North.

I Disagree.
Their is a big difference between Gehrig and Tredrea, Gehrig for all his bodybuilding is not a true gorilla, he is still a leading forward just as he was with the eagles.
Tredrea however depends less on the speed of leads than their power (think Nietz).
For this reason I think Goodes should take him.
I'm not enormously comfortable with Leo taking Tredrea - lack of size which I think Tredrea could exploit much better than Gehrig. His ankle may be a concern too.
I'm also not comfortable with Goodes taking him either - lack of sideways mobility.
I just wonder whether C Bolton should get the job this time. Tough ask though.
Oh to have Schauble back!!

Fair point. If the Injury report is true then we may not have much of a choice.
Roosy's rule... their best forward = our best backman.
Leo also has the pace to go with Tredrea on the lead.
"As a player he simply should not have been able to do the things he did. Leo was a 185cm, 88kg full-back and played on some of the biggest, fastest and best full-forwards of all time, and constantly beat them." Roos.
Leo Barry? you star! We'll miss ya, ''Leapin''.

I don't think either on this occasion. It worked on the weekend and I don't see why it woudn't work again. I think teams are going to tag Leo more and more so putting him on their key forward may be one way to prevent this. Obviously it's horses for courses but I don't see too many other available options on a champion like Tredrea.
IMO Leo has the pace, the strength and importantly the attacking flair to really worry him.
