Big loss if that's true about Bally...but Leo reckons he'll be Ok for Port...
Let's wait and see later in the week. With St Nick returning, who would you drop anyway? If Ball is out for 2 or 3, it will give Doyle a fantastic opportunity to make his mark on the team...
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

Surely they'll have to bring in another ruckman if Ball is set to miss. Can't see Doyle being able to ruck for four quarters, especially with no Saddo or Goodes to relieve him. Hall is probably the only other player in the team able to ruck. Reckon Meiklejohn might find himself in the team next week.

Where in hell do these people get their information?

Are they cyber-doctors? Hospital MRI technicians? Player's mothers? Crystal ball readers?

I generally find them more reliable than the Swans site. But Adam Schneider was on the ABC's sports show on Saturday and one question was "So Adam you'll be out for another two, three weeks?" and he replied "Um, about another month, so yes."

            Was thinking the same!!

An examination first thing Monday Morning would give a better assessment.

This appears to be their best guess.

Nothing about Doyle - Who rasied his arm and went off shortly after.... Sat on the bench for the last 5 minutes....

              Hopefully off as a precaution?

Bad news about Ball, he was really finding form.

How has MJ been playing in the ressies? Still think Goodes can relieve Doyle in the ruck as port have two tall forwards only? (Tredrea and then interchangeable full-forwards.)

So James/Bolton can take the roles obviously if Leo plays then he can take a tall too, allowing Goodes to play ruck(though they said he never would again)

If Jason's is true...Does it mean they haven't taken into account that we technically have Rnd 13 off?? and will play the following week?

It would mean they expect him to be available for the June 26 match....

(Tongue in cheek) Baz's best rucking job was the number he did on Port ironically enough!

Did I see right, was Bally playing through the hamstring throughout Sunday? I thought I heard the Nine comms say he's done a hammy and then 5 or 10 minutes later he was still contesting ruck duals??

roosy actually stated that he would never have goodesy in the ruck at centre bounces if the current rules are never changed

therefore, it rules goodesy out of the centre square as a ruckman for the rest of the season, roosy did not rule out playing goodesy as a round-the-ground ruckman

also, we could see goodesy back into the ruck in the centre square for the wizard cup/next season (if the rules are changed)

Keep Goodes away from the centre bounce - around the ground is OK. LRT is due back and did a reasonable job in last year's PF. He can provide backup for Doyle.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

I dont think theres much chance we'll see Goodes in the middle ever again. Roos just about got conned (by media, RWO et al) into playing him there in the Weagles game, and that back-fired less 5 seconds in. Once he starts to feel more comfortable with his dicky knee, I think we may see him ruck at stoppages, especially in the defensive 50.

Definately get MJ in - time for our future to show their worth, admittedly against a pretty formiddable duo in Lade/Brogan.

next week expecting davis, barry, ball to be ready after all, and that's just super.

if these guys do actually know what is going on.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know
