okey dokey, now I've just swung completely to your way of thinking...
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
Originally posted by stellation I'd rather beat them when they have their best team, and I would enjoy a good game of football against their best team more than I would enjoy a walk over of an understrength team.
Yeah I agree, I am starting to think that more and more I just want to watch a good game of footy.
Originally posted by Bleed Red Blood I'd rather beat them by 75 points at full strenght than beat them by 100 without Tarrant.
Are we becoming as arrogant as saints supporters were before their loss?
With a sad looking bench of Tarrant (3K 0H 1M 0.0 3OOBOF), Buckley (10K 4H 20Tackles(ie. he's been tackled by Captain)), Holland trying to stop the blood flow from a nasty gash over his pretty eyes, that will leave a permanent scar, (1K(accidental one to the head, woops)) Rocca, with his elbow still badly dislocated after elbowing Captain in the head. (Kirk got up straight away with a small red mark on his cheek)
Do you guys remember when we beat them at TD, when we only had about 3 fit men on the ground. That was an amazing game.
The best memories of Wobbles games in the past, have been the betting.....Pick the Qtr and Time that big Sav will be benched coz Dunkley has kept him ballless!!! That was enjoyable.
A wins a win I guess - but I'd really love to smack em!!!!
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

AGE IS ONLY IMPORTANT FOR TWO THINGS - WINE & CHEESE!
i hope the pies beat melbourne on monday so that the media can keep talking them up and we'll shoot em down with a mark williams' shot gun. there is a chance as melbourne's last quarter was a slogfest and it was in WA.

SEASON OVER!
I hope they beat Melbourne so that if we win, we are only one win off 3rd spot (unless Brisbane and Essendon draw).
Well Chris doesn't look like he will be at Telstra for Eddie's big match!
I like it because that leaves just big Anthony assuming he is fit. I would love to crunch the Pies and by any means. There are too many Pie fans who think they are much better than they really are.
Time to face a team on the rise not one on a slippery slope like they are!

They will appeal, of course. With all the money, power and BS that McChin can muster. So it's quite likely he'll get his 'sentence' reduced to 1 week.
I wouldn't mind playing (and defeating) a near full-strength Collingwood. We should be that much stronger with Leo and maybe Ball & Schneides back (touch wood nobody joins them this week!).
Schauble will still be three weeks away. Three weeks after the CWood game, that is.
I think Tarrant will probably end up getting off at the appeal. He definately made contact, but I was surprised at the severity considering he had eyes for the ball the entire time.
Fingers crossed that the suspension will be upheld, however.

Agree that he had eyes for the ball, BUT please explain then how he knew to lift his fist and strike at the right time to get the opponent out of the way. I could understand from peripheral vision if he braced for a bump, but not a strike.
I'm on the Chandwagon!!!
If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.
