Well what an extraordinary win...SEEEENNNNSATIONAL!!!!
Just a few tips on the bad losers down at Moorabbin, From Grant Thomas:
"And we allowed them to kick all those short lead-ups, that we said before the game was going to happen.
"We said they'd do that to frustrate us; we said they'd get numbers behind the ball; they did that as well.
"So we were well briefed and well analysed in relation to what they were going to do.
"Our lack of physicality on them really compounded the situation and allowed them to look better than it probably was."
What a sook. Swannies smashed em, pure and simple. We were acountable they weren't...simple. Kirky smashed Hayes in 2003...Kirky smashed Hayes again in 2004 ...simple. Crouch has been shutting em down for so long now (including Guerra) i have forgotten how long he has been doing it...simple. Goods is a Brownlow Medalist and smashed Hammil, Hammil does not have one...simple as that. Maxfield was too experienced for Jones and has a searching left foot that pumped it constantly into the forward 50, Jones does not and simply could not...simple as that. Leo was too committed and and too agile for Gehrig (i predicted that one from the start) ...he was smashed, simple as that. Too the rest of em Thomas they looked a hell of a lot better than your lot. Oh and BTW you tried the rough stuff but didn't realise the ability for our players to simply bounce back. We are harder than your team and that was clear yesterday. Boy how joyous to see those saint supporters walking off with their feet firmly planted on the ground again after trying the Brisbane strut...you are not there yet. Remember the adage Sainters "never get ahead of yourselves cos like in the past anything can happen"!
