The Footy Show is coming to town

To mark the Sydney - Collingwood game, my sources have told me that the Footy Show will be coming from Star City on Thursday 24 June.

They will be making an announcement about it on this week's show with tickets to start going on sale this Friday.

But they still won't show the show live in Sydney and the crowd will be crap for the game anyway coz the Pies will lose this weekend.

Do you really have to pay to attend the Footy Show? How much?

Do you have to pay a surcharge not to go? I'd be willing to pay that - I've got some socks that need darning that night.

Whether the Pies win or lose it will not make a difference. A lot of Collingwood and Melbourne Swans members have pre booked flights and tickets before the year with cheap flights.

Sources say that close to 60,000 tickets have been sold already for this game (including pre booked members seating).

A respectable performance this week will ensure 60,000+ for this one.

Not sure if it applies to the AFL FS as well, but the League FS is free when in the studio, but when on the road for shows there is a price

I was going to suggest we go as a group, to show support for our boys, but I'm not going to pay see them when I don't bother watching it on TV free.

Will only be a charge because of special venue etc, and will most likely go to charity.

To go there on mass and heckle Maguire will be priceless.

I'd even make a sign, "Eddie, your show's been axed."

Perhaps a charitable fund to erect a giant statue of Nathan Buckley at the MCG?

                    - Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!
