    Good on you for getting off your backside and contacting the club

    However.....if you read through the posts I think the winners (according to RWO) are Kirk for Captain and Bevan for #14.

    I would suggest that those were the results of a very lively debate.

      I received the following reply from Stephen Brassel, Swans media main man.


      "The concept you raise with regards to the number 14 guernsey is certainly interesting and one which I will forward to the appropriate parties within the Sydney Swans for discussion." Stephen Brassel Media & Communications Manager

      He later emailed me to say he would keep in touch re: what the club's thoughts are.

      Great to see the club acknowledge ideas and are prepared to reply to constructive input from supporters.

        Bevan for #14 would be a good choice, but it's already been discussed.
        Kirk for Captain tho. The commentators would get a lot of enjoyment out of star trek jokes. I'm sure someone will mention captain Kirk in the engine room with the ball on the Members' wing. All we need is Tiger saying we can't change the laws of physics and we could have a #1 hit record.
