Expect final changes to be Meiklejohn for Ball, and Davis for one of Ablett or James

If Leo misses then the player dropped for Davis will come back in

Haven't seen much of Port this year.

How does the loss of Cochrane effect the Power??

tends to man up on the opposing forward pocket or half forward flanker, an honest battler really.

We can't complain that the youngsters aren't getting a run: Bevan, Buchanan, McVeigh and now Dempster. Congratulations to Sean - hope you have a great game.

                Dempster, Meiklejohn in the frame

Sydney youngster Sean Dempster - the son of former Swan Graham - is in line to make his AFL debut against Port Adelaide at AAMI Stadium on Sunday.

The 20 year-old, who has been an emergency for the past two matches, has been named in the initial squad of 25 players along with ruckman/forward James Meiklejohn, who is also a chance to play his first game of 2004.

Forward Nick Davis has also been rushed back into the side after missing last week's clash with an ankle injury, while key tall Mark Powell returns to the squad.

The quartet has been named on the extended bench, but as expected, the Swans have lost ruckman/forward Jason Ball with a hamstring injury.

Skipper Stuart Maxfield is set to play his 300th AFL senior game, which includes pre-season games and international rules matches.

Port Adelaide has made two significant inclusions with midfielders Peter Burgoyne and Josh Carr back in the line-up.

The duo has been named in the starting 18 after Burgoyne missed the past two matches through suspension, while Carr has been sidelined for the last five weeks due to a broken jaw.

Adam Kingsley and Damon White have been included on the provisional interchange.

Stuart Cochrane will miss his first game of the season after being rubbed out for one match at the tribunal earlier in the week.

The Swans injury list shows LRT is available - is he starting in the 2s this week?

And the big news is that Schauble and Schneider will be back in three weeks! For our fullback it's been 3 weeks for 15 weeks now. Do we have our injury lists compiled by State Rail?

I think the matchups and how they can be exploited will be very interesting.Chad Cornes could be the key to their defence. He reads the play and ignores his man.I presume he will be looking to cut off Hall's leads and come over the top in marking contests.
Looking at the teams he might play on O'Keefe.I can see the Swans playing through ROK to exploit Cornes looseness and to drag him away from Hall.
Unlike the St Kilda game where it looked like we didn't have enough taggers for their midfield I am confident we man up well in that department and expect Kirk to nullify P Burgoyne.
What is the betting that Pickett or Carr will try to iron out Captain?I would take short odds about that happening.

any news on Barry Hall ? Didn't he roll an ankle at training and left the ground early ?

Chad's groin is meant to be suspect.
