Snowy's article was on the AFL website:
At least Roosy has a sense of humour about the Swans' injury-depleted list:
Roos ... issued an open invitation to the likes of former champions Paul Kelly or Barry Round to pull on the boots if they were available.
The Power though have 13 players on the injured list, and between the Power and Swans we have five of the seven season-ending Knee ACL injuries in the AFL. I say the Swans and Power should play for a new trophy, the Crutches-and-Bandage Cup."Unbelievable!" -- Nick Davis leaves his mark on the 2005 semi finalComment

Call me old-fashioned but what ever happened to the needles, the heavy strapping, the magic sprays and the like that use to carry the players through the pain threshold and onto the field?Comment

This is unbelievable.
Schauble, Schneider, Saddington, O'Loughlin, Barry, Ball, Doyle (?).
What the hell is going on?Comment

It's okay. They'll all be back in three weeks.Originally posted by monopoly19

What happens if Doyle is out? Do we risk Goodes in there (highly doubtful) or play MJ there all day and basically work off the Port taps (unlikely that MJ would provide much of a contest against the formidable Port duo for any sustained period)?
Who gets first crack at Tredrea - B2 or Goodes. I'd suggest B2, but I'm not really sure.
Powell or Dempster in? Perhaps both!
At least it's no longer a choice between Ablett or McVeigh, I like them both too much
At least with Davis back in, there's a chance we could cover the loss of Mickey's firepower. Not so confident about our backline - Bevan, B2, James, Goodes, Kennelly...bit short on experience methinks. Would love to have Schauble back right about now.Comment
