Port *should* beat us reasonably easy.

If you are a betting man, you are silly really to put money on the swans, except for some games last year where we have beat the odds, there is nothing to suggest that we should win tomorrow.

Tomorrow is a game that will give us all unbelievable enjoyment if we got up, because it will be a big upset, much bigger than beating St.Kilda.

I hope we can do it, but I am not going to be in shock tomorrow night if we don't!

I'll be happy to if I am wrong each week!!

You were amazingly close last week until those last 3 goals by St.Kilda. Although my 'premonition' the morning of the game was also very close. It was a struggle between heart and head for me!!

Anyway, I don't remember saying I disagreed with you that we would destroy St.Kilda. I did say "Jeez - dominating the midfield is a big ask. It will a very good test for us." I also said I thought that St.Kilda wasn't as good as they currently look.

Definitely though the Swans recaptured their form of last year, which I was uncertain as to when we would, so hopefully it keeps going.

Has nothing to do with whether some supporters in another city have faith though. Some of you guys seem to think that if the supporters sit at home during the week and have faith it will magically filter through to the players. Having faith as a supporter means stuff all as to whether the team wins or not. Doesn't mean you don't hope they win, but simply having faith makes jack-all difference.

So if we think the duckies will lose ... Ok

                      By how much ...
                      PORT ADELAIDE -19.5 1.85/1.00
                      SYDNEY +19.5 1.95/1.00

Will Swans be within 3 goals ... ???
Ducks one week, Swans the next... just don't be a Goose till October!

Plenty of good sense spoken by NMW.

When did we last get flogged ? Not outplayed , but flogged ?
We are overdue for a towelling and today looks like being the day: we will not roll over and die , but just cannot cover the missing players.

A flogging is what happens when even a good team loses the plot. I'd hope that the Swans are too disciplined for that. There's a fair chance we'll lose today but I think the way the team is drilled to man up and tackle will prevent a flogging. Unless you have news that Crouch and Kirk aren't playing? I'd prefer a boring flood and tackle game to a free flowing flogging. We are certainly outclassed today - but that doesn't mean we'll be outcoached or outplayed.

Lets just say that we are not intimidated by Port - in any way shape or form!!

And the Dishlickers showed yesterday what a bit of pressure and committment can achieve. So we'll see at 4pm today!
