all I can say is, so, so, very disapointing...after last week. Is it the let-down factor or what? Poor skill levels, poor tackling...very disappointing effort. They have let themselves down. Injuries are only part of the excuse...it doesn't stop the 22 who are playing from having a crack...hope Roosie can stick a cracker up their collective bums at half time...
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

I dont think it is as disastrous as that.

No Ball. No Doyle. NO RUCK
      No Barry. NO FULLBACK
      No O'Loughlin. NO FULLFORWARD
      Davis is still injured.

And this is just our recently injured players. We have far too many key players out, hence no structure.

With only 1 key forward, Chad Cornes is freed up from CHB.

I am predicting about an 80 point thrashing.

We cant compete against these odds.

Rucks a signficant factor, but interestingly radio mentioned very low intensity in the Swans rooms before the game, almost resigned to losing this one it seems

Play McVeigh for the rest of game instead of fossie.

Terrible effort, but I didnt expect it to be this bad. Helps if we had a ruckman out there.

I am losing patience with Nick Davis, sure he is injured but if your out there make a decent contest to the ball.

If he is really injured, rest him until he can provide something. Useless having him out there.

We cant rest everyone. Too many other injuries.

                Davis is definitely not fit.

I would also agree with leaving McVeigh on.

The team looks a bit like a ham sandwich with no filling - there's just no meat to it.

I agree with you Sharpie, and home ground advantage also comes into play sometimes for them (like us). We'll be well rested for the Pies at least.

Maxfield and Hall among only a handful of Swans puting in.

Goodes is being towelled by Tredrea - he has a lot of work to do if he wants to become a quality CHB.

                    Kirk very disappointing.

Give McVeigh and Ablett a run in the middle for the rest of the game.

Goodes on Tredrea. Well at least its a bit of a learning experience for him. Would never be the first choice if we could dream of having something near our best team out there. Even without Schauble, Leo Barry would have lined up on Wazza before Goodes was given a go.

The problem is not just the injuries - it's a lack of effort and pressure and commitment. The side in today is not enormously different to last year's team that won the final. Their side is down their key midfielder on last year.

Injuries are not a good enough excuse.

Maybe not an excuse, but a pretty valid reason, if there is a difference?

And it is not just regular injuries. They are key injuries. The following guys can all play in key tall positions (including ruck) that affect our team structure: Schauble, Barry, Ball, Doyle, Saddington. Of our top players out injured, only one, Schneider, cant play in a key tall position.

What do you reckon the margin will be? Somewhere betwwen 125 -150 is my guess. Injuries have killed us.
