Umpires aren't giving us any favours up our end that is for sure - plenty for them though.

It was technically there, Nicks was holding his jumper although Wanganeen was doing the same. The 50m penalty still has me confused though. What is the exact technical ruling on that one?Originally posted by daniel f

ABC news radio all derisive of the soft 50s. In SAAFL they have a 25m penalty to apparently, for lesser indiscretions. Every one of them were appalled that these decisions have a large effect on a tight game.Originally posted by ugg
