    Let the drought continue

Those of us who watched the Dees-Pies game today will be hoping that it doesn't rain on Saturday fortnight. There were two games today - the dry one (1st and 4th quarters) and the wet one. The Pies were very imposing in the wet and unless we've learned a lot from the Tigers game then I'm hoping that the drought continues. Saves on lawn mowing anyway.

Just gotta flash back to Rd 21 last year to see what we'll be up against if it is wet.

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

or Round 7 this season. If it rains we are pretty much done for.
        Once was, now elsewhere

they were imposing in the wet, but helpless in the dry. With both teams losing, I wonder how many of the ferals will make the trip up this time and how many of our fairweather friends will show. I still expect a bumper crowd, probably between 50-60K.
