I have to go out of radio range for a while, but before I go I wanted to post these words by "Swans rule100" from another thread.
The phenomenon listed below is something I have noticed also. Not least when I have actually dropped into the Swans headquarters in Driver Av. For example , the ladies in the front desk area have at times reminded me of an over protective mother hen guarding an insecure brood of old and unhatched eggs that everybody but her realises are substandard. The vibe is not very welcoming !

It is hard for an organisation to gauge a vibe like this but if this part of theSwans culture isn't dealt with somtime, then they will never stand up for themselves, or their supporters becuase they don't believe in the club in a healthy way.
In Sydney the Swans are being walked over with things like :
* Having no suitable ground to train on pre seasone
* Inadequate service at SCG games (mostley catering ect),
* Lack of serious journalisim in Sydney in relation to analysis of Swans performance, as well as publicity.
ect ect...
It is time for self examination by Sydney.... Premeirships don't come out of insular, insecure clubs who have "chips on their shoulder", they come from confidant and super professional outfits who demand and get what they need for success.
But then again.... maybe it's just the "journey that matters .."!
Right people ??
Good luck for the finals. I hope the Swans make em.
