a poblem within the club ??

I have to go out of radio range for a while, but before I go I wanted to post these words by "Swans rule100" from another thread.
The phenomenon listed below is something I have noticed also. Not least when I have actually dropped into the Swans headquarters in Driver Av. For example , the ladies in the front desk area have at times reminded me of an over protective mother hen guarding an insecure brood of old and unhatched eggs that everybody but her realises are substandard. The vibe is not very welcoming !

    End Quote

It is hard for an organisation to gauge a vibe like this but if this part of theSwans culture isn't dealt with somtime, then they will never stand up for themselves, or their supporters becuase they don't believe in the club in a healthy way.
In Sydney the Swans are being walked over with things like :
    * Having no suitable ground to train on pre seasone
    * Inadequate service at SCG games (mostley catering ect),
    * Lack of serious journalisim in Sydney in relation to analysis of Swans performance, as well as publicity.
    ect ect...
It is time for self examination by Sydney.... Premeirships don't come out of insular, insecure clubs who have "chips on their shoulder", they come from confidant and super professional outfits who demand and get what they need for success.
But then again.... maybe it's just the "journey that matters .."!
    Right people ??

Good luck for the finals. I hope the Swans make em.

There's something wrong, the Swans seem to be all off song ....... and far far from home... (IE a premiership )
Keep dreaming Ryan Bomford, Just like all the rest, you think you are on planet earth, but in actual fact you are in outta space as well, if you can't see that the farce is over..... The Swans are done for !!!

God, a few negative responses to this post.

I think he's actual put his finger on why we haven't won a premiership in 70 odd years - inadequate catering! Why don't we sack Roos and replace him with someone with qualifications in catering and event management? And then we can replace the players with waiting staff!

                Problem solved.

If you turned up with the same attitude you have here, would you blame her. Surprised she didn't call security (or a translator if you speak as you spell)

BTW are you going to be out of range for long? We'll miss you.......

God speed Footyhead .... I liked your duet with RB though, had me singing away with you (though I think the lyrics could be slightly tweaked )
Here's my heart and you can break it

personally, i will miss you, footyhead. Your uncanny ability to provoke debate over any issue is a skill not many have in their armoury.

Now hopefully you will come back with, umm.. a positive attitude....? or even one that is slightly altered to your current one...

please, when you choose to pick on someone's spelling YOU'RE under an obligation to yourself to check YOUR own.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know
