This happened to us in 2000 and 2002, had we won those seven close games we lost in each season, we would have made the finals easily. I wonder what Barrett's point is?

Just wondering, had the Magpies won, how many people would be wondering "what would have been" had Davis, Schneider, Schauble and Saddington been in the side. I'll tell you: Nobody. Nobody gave a @@@@ when the Swans lost to the unbeaten Essendon by 13 points in 2000 with seven first-choice players out of the side through injury, so why should we care now?

Message to Collingwood supporters: GET OVER IT! You lost. Big deal. We lost to Collingwood last year, and I'm sure we didn't complain and whinge in the media about missing key players or speculate incessantly about "what would have been" had the weather been dry for last year's game.

while sepaking of the Pies cheer squad Hubby came home on Friday night and asked me if I wanted to know where they were staying so I could arrange to blow the hotel up. He drove past them on the way home from work.

When I asked him how he knew it was them, he said he saw them with the banner. I laughed and asked him did he flick his cigarette at it as he drove past

I thought it was funny, I mean... as if he smokes... there is no way a smoker could lead off HFF as much as he does during a game!
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

no worries, still friends. Can handle anyone having a go at me, but not at Hubby when he's innocent, or not able to defend himself as he doesn't post here.

For the reccord, he wont smoke while driving in the new car as there is no ashtray. Wouldn't fork out the extra cash for the "Smokers kit" which is a good thing considering the amount of time he's travelling from place to place, helps cut back on the smokes.

I do agree with your point of view though. (I'm a bit of a closet greenie. I even recycle my grey water )

I love Joffa's comments, pity he has his head stuck too far up Eddie rear end to be able to make any proper judgement on anything

I tell you where we are going and its something you jokers aren't - THE FINALS.

Enjoy the gate money of thousands upon thousands of collingwood dollars and when you get anywhere near what collingwood means to the competition come back and brag !!!
Gee, I didn't know the entire crowd on Saturday Night was made up of Collingwood supporters. As far as I could see there was at least 4 times the amount of Swans supporters at the game. Heck most of the Collingwood supporters that were there, needed a club sponsor to pay for them, to attend. Said sponsor was also kind enough Joffa to provide you lot with something to wipe away the tears. As to what Collingwood means to the competition, I don't see Collingwood being in a TV market that is key to getting the AFL the kind of TV rights money it gets. Take us away and the amount of income this league gets from sponsors and TV networks will drop by nearly 30%.

Admit it come on you envy the greatness of everything we stand for but then again we must remember that in the scheme of things the sydney football club amounts to Jack ****.
Envy what I must ask?? 1 premiership in 46 years, Grand Final loss after Grand Final loss and this coming the so-called powerhouse club in the AFL??? Pfff Collingwood living on past glories, most of which pre-date the Swans last premiership. So Joffa tell me again, what is it I'm suppose to envy about Collingwood????

Losing or living in the past????

I wonder how many of those loyal Collingwood supporters would still be around if their club had been disbanded and moved interstate?

But no wait, it couldn't happen to them as the Human Mouth Piece is their president and bandies their name around where ever he can. Or course businesses want to be associated with HIM as he's not called Eddie Everywhere for nothing. Get a grip Pies people and smell the coffee, if Eddie's passion was for another club, where would you be?

as for passion I wonder how many of them would travel anywhere as much as some of our supporters dofor most if not all games? I wonder how many of their fans drive across the Nullabor just to see his team play?

                              anyway, that's my rant.
