Weekend Is Over In Tassie
well because 7 and ten are one channel in tassie they have decided to show 7s coverage of the rugby and the swans game isnt on til 9 oclock delayed........not on fox footy either...im probably the only one here affected but i just feel like venting!! :P cant stand delayed because i cant help checking the web or radio and then they still piss around with the pre match stuff when they could just join the game where it is and arrgh im angry

You need a bit of self-discipline.
If I'm not actually going to a game, I'm invariably dragged off surfing or falling off rocks or something by my wife and have to watch the game taped. Make sure you are busy, out of range of any phone or radio (our car radio is conveniently useless) and that you have your answering machine turned off.
Remain in the cone of footy-silence until the game has been taped. On one ocasion in the past, a mate and I had to play the stupid snake game on our mobile phones in the car in the driveway for 30 minutes until the recast had finished taping and we could enter the house without accidentally seeing it on TV (I won).
When you finally get to watch the game, its just as tense as watching it live. Possibly more so, if you aren't a dab hand with the VCR. The added bonus of waking up the neighbours when you throw things at the walls instead of just annoying them makes the wait worthwhile.Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. yeh 7 and 10 are just southern cross is basically 7 with the odd ten stuff on it... normally all the footy but rugby is getting priority and this isnt even a rugby state

My parents got one and it has an extra channel available that shows most of channel 10 as it is shown in Melbourne. Plus some Channel 7 stuff not shown in Tasmania.
If I was you I would write to Southern Cross - that is DISGRACEFUL. Tasmania is an AFL State. No two ways about it. Replay the damn test at midnight.Comment

Just find out the scores before you watch it. That way, if we lose, you save yourself the pain by not watching at all (as happened with the Essendon game this year, I was working at the time and have not watched it), and if we win then you can watch the Collingwood goals and not care, and laugh at all the Swannies mistakes 'cause you know they prevail in the end. Brilliant!
You still feel the tension, it's just for a shorter period (those few tense moments as the web-page is loading).

Honestly can not believe they are not showcasing the only AFL game of the weekend.
The handful of people that like rugby in Tassie should suffer like I do in Sydney.Comment
