MELBOURNE, June 21 (Reuters) - Carlton forward Brendan Fevola
has been reported on video evidence for striking Richmond's
Nathan Brown, the Australian Football League (AFL) announced on
Monday.
The charge was laid by video reports officer Ian Robinson.
Fevola kicked eight goals in Carlton's 31-point win at the
Docklands stadium on Saturday.
Fevola was also involved in a clash with Brown in the first
quarter which left the Tigers recruit and favourite for the club
best and fairest award feeling dazed and sporting a cut above his
left eye.
Brown, a former Western Bulldogs midfielder, spent the second
quarter in the change rooms with concussion.
The AFL also announced on Monday a charge laid against
Western Bulldogs utility Steven Koops for unduly rough play
against Adelaide's Nathan Bock in Sunday's match has been
withdrawn.
