He's not even listed in the swans injury list! What kind of injury list is it if it says Davis out on the website and then the injury list doesnt have them?

It was only just reported, sunshine. Do you think they update their websites that quickly????
I wonder if Magic was unable to play if this same decision would have been made - judging on the basis of this year so far, no. We have only had them both out there together for one half of football this year.
It comes as little surprise to me having seen the way he was hobbling last Thursday at the trivia night. Lets just hope it doesn't drag on as so many other injuries have this year.
I'm on the Chandwagon!!!
If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

I think BRB's point was that the story about Nicky D being out was posted on the swans site an hour before they posted an injury update which didn't include Nicky D.
BRB I am, like, -totally- stalking you. Like, -totally-
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
I said when he first did it, not that anyone seemed to believe me, that that type of injury takes six months to heal. Playing him so soon would have only done more damage and increased the likelihood of stress fractures.
My guess is they thought he could play a fairly static role in the forward 50 and be OK after the weeks break. Teams always take risks with injured players and I thought at the time that they probably made a reasonable call.
What I could *NOT* understand why he was on the ground in the second half when the game was lost, regardless of the number of fit players we had at the time, IMO *THAT* was just plain stupid.

Yep, from what I could tell he took a hit on it pretty much straight away and was in "take an early shower" territory, and then there were more "take an early shower" injuries and they just started rotating Nick on and off the field again. Crazy, crazy stuff. We were watching the telecast and almost yelling at the TV every time the poor guy went back on.
He could pretty much just trot in one direction and not turn. At one point he was leading to the same pocket as Barry, couldn't pull out and Nick's defender ended up spoiling Barry because he had been brought into the contest.
