Channel 10 not showing game until 8.30pm now?

Anyone know the reason? The guide still says 7.30pm, but the TV ads clearly say 8.30pm.

    Ticket sales? or plain ratings?

(Don't worry Melbourne people still on live there)

or perhaps its the "hilariously funny" (they always start with that line) behind the scenes of Leave it to Beaver!

I just dont get it either - but hey I'll be out there cheering so loud that I wont feel the cold!

actually - I bet channel 10 will have the half hour of rubbish and the actual game not start til 9.00pm, by which stage the rugby is over!

did anyone notice in one of the news items on Tuesday (I think) that the AFL & NRL had tried to discuss the draw with the ARU so as all codes got a fair go and the ARU weren't interested?

I do like rubgy but the only 2 good things about the game at Telstra last week were the Scottich bloke singing the 'flower of Scotland" which was unbelievable, made me shiver it was so good (and with about 100 Scots sitting around us made it even better) and getting on the bus to go home- the game itself was crap!

However the ARU are so arrogant and feel that they will take over Australia as the number one code - they are dreamin!

Very wise decision by Channel 10, the rugger will be finished by 8.40pm and then you get the TV sports viewing public to flick the switch to 10. You will always hold a TV audience better if they start watching the game from the start rather than coming in late or flicking over during the commercials.

Also good for the club as it has the potential to add a couple of thousand more paying customers through the gate that would have stated home and watched it live on TV.

Win, win all round I say.
