    My damn father....

    ...is turning 60.

    tonight.

    how inconvenient.
I'll have to tape the game and watch it later (or tomorrow if I am unable to see when I get home)

    how inconsiderate of him!
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

      Birthdays.

Why would anyone give a damn about the number of rotations of a big rock around a star, since a person was born?

      It's arbitary, meaningless and banal.

      Watch the game.

My fathers birthday today as well.

Luckily my father thinks it is very rude to organise parties when the football is on lol.

          I have a mate's 18th next Saturday.

Thankfully, it's at 7:30pm, meaning I have plenty of time to go to both football and party.

CuretheSane, definitely know how you feel tonight

Hope your dad has a good 60th!

If my darn knee didn't decide to go on me tonight instead of another night I could have gone to the match!

Can anyone help me out regarding the Footy Record?

                Thanks gossipcom.

I headed out after dinner and he was pretty drunk, so I'm sure he had a ball

UNFORTUNATELY, I got home and realised that whilst I managed to remember to tape the Nutty Professor for the kids, I forgotto hit record on the other VCR before I walked out the door

So I missed the game, and logged on here when I got home to see who won.

Might actually got to the article links and read some reports...

I know my mums birthday is on the day that Swans verse Adelaide and my mum wants to go somewhere with my dad for dinner.

Anyway, my dad is a mad Sydney supporter ( like me ) and so he suggested ' Hey lets go and have dinner at the SCG', ........ You should've seen her face !!!!!

my damn father is a pies supporter (thank your preferred deity my mother had the influence in my life).

well, suffice to say, I rather enjoy the thought of him throwing things at his TV set last weekend when they lost to us!!!!

                              love it!
