    We're Favourites? WTF

Sportsbet has the Swans $1.50, to Pies $2.60.

    What am I missing here?

Collingwood are full strength (minus Tarrant). Right?
Sure, their depth is non-existant, but there is only one starting 22 member on their injury list. This is a team that has played in the last two grand finals!

If they lose this game they'll be 3 games (+%) outside the 8, therefore season over. Right?
Maybe, 'backs to the wall' may be a factor? Do you think MM may make a point of it?

Goodes, Barry, Ball, Doyle, O'Loughlin, Williams... have had injury worries.

Fixter to play for the first time in 2 years.

    Thewlis to debut.

Honestly, I wouldn't have been surprised to find the odds around the other way...

Oh well... I wasn't deliberately trying to make excuses - but there are a few. I'm just startled at the overwhelming favouritism...

... mmm Collingwood at $2.60 is very tempting...

Hope you didn't back the pies.

I took a bit of that $1.50 action. Even though it was bloody close, I thought we were sure thing.

I thought that $2.40 for the Swans to win by 1-39 was easy money and far better value than $1.50 that was on offer for the straight win.

        Didn't waste my money thankfully

Still, 15 lead changes isn't $1.50 to $2.60, so I stand by my belief that the odds were way off.

...but I couldn't be happier right now.

Yep that was much better value. I had a look at 1-39 a couple of hours before the game and it was only paying $1.80. I just didn't want to go through the misery of losing money if we flogged the Wobbles!
