    Banner.....

Great Sydney banner, I locked in 'A' before the siren!

    Down the other end.....

Collingwood Cheer Squad extra thick like Sorbent

What an absolutely whinging lot of low life fleas! Still sooking about OUR Dicky Nee. Are they forgetting their precious sooky la la Rocca or cry cry cry cry baby Licca!

If you didn't see it at 1/2 time... "Nick Davis as soft as Sorbent"

    PATHETIC PHYLTHY PIE PIGS!

I think next time we need a few signs that remind them of their go home and cry babies....

Also loved the Sydney Banner. Even though our banner looks a bit cheaper compared to other teams - any chance the club would pay for the end sponsor bits to be permanent like some other clubs?

      How about these ideas

      BUCKLEY
      ROCCA = TRAITORS
      LICURIA

      OR

SHAW AND COLE ARE AS SOFT AS SORBENT
      Once was, now elsewhere

Unfortunately most of the effort to make those would be wasted on Collingwood fans - how many of them would actually be able to read them????

        I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

Let them have their hypocritical little bits of holding up bed sheet entertainment.

          We have four points!

There's nothing that could be written on a banner that hurts them more than that.

          Winners are grinners

As for the " Nick Davis Is As Soft As Sorbent " banner.

The crocodile holding it up was still an ugly beast this morning.
Sit down or i swear to God i'll have you shot.

No I wouldn't even bother doing a sign for Eddiewood.
It really just shows how pathetic and hung up about Nick that they feel they need to.

Unfortunately I got inside the stadium after the teams had already run out on saturday night - could someone fill me in on what the banner said? (or better still post pics if possible?).
              Cheers.

Was something along the lines of:
                <b>
                Who will win tonight?

                A Sydney
                B Pies

                Lock in A thanks Eddie

Was the best banner I've seen that I can remember.

Congratulations to the Cheer Squad for the banner on Saturday night. Very clever.

Can we drop off the 'cry baby Licuria' theme!! He doesn't deserve to be bracketed with Rocca.

He didn't ask to be traded, didn't particularly want to be traded. Eade thought he wouldn't make the grade because he was a poor kick and therefore put him up as trade bait.

His kicking skills certainly aren't great, but 2 Copeland Trophy's and a couple of GF appearances and 40+ touches in a final would indicate he had something else to offer.

BTW. The banner was a talking point, even when we met up with friends walking back to the car the talk was 'didn't you love the banner'. Well done to whoever thought it up. One of the best.

Excellent banner - and to regulation size (which from reports the other clubs have been a bit lax in that area)
Great to Meet you Julian (and the other chap from Hobart) Aussie Ange & I did our best to get the chants going, however my voice threw in the towel not long after half time!

                            Excellent night indeed!
