The couch mob will probably discuss Frawley is dead and Wobbles miss finals because of no Tarrant, thus not have to give any air time to our great effort. Come on Gerard Healy - stand up for us.
I don't have fox footy so i miss it. But i can imagine Talking Footy tommorow night.
- Start with the frawley resignation.
- Talk about that and the tigers for 20 minutes.
- Then have invited player/coach from the bombers/richmond/Collingwood or Melbourne.
- That goes on for another 30 mins icluding the anooying votes for that thingy they have,
- Then discuss where the pesi went wrong on Saturday complete with some graphics and stats showing Collingwood with Taz and without Taz.
Timmy will get a hard on talking about bucks etc. The only time you will see the swans is the footage they will show of a Collingwood goal or bucks from Saturday night.
Waste of time this show, why do they bother to show up here at all.
As fas as I knew (Staf's mum-in-law told me), that Greg was relieved to get away from Rocket and work with Danny.
After all, Danny was the one that gave him licence to break jaws, rupture vertebraes, smash patellas etc..
I think that Plough's link to Richmond would be Browny and this might be the bridge that gets him to Punt Road.
Sheeds won't go, he loves to worry the Don's board into a pay increase.
Rocket might get the Hawks job, though that would end in tears because it's an ugly pattern Hawks have formed:
JUDGE X
SCHWAB X
What's next, Ayresy, Plough, Rocket?
All these ex-champs of the club who get a lenient ride from above (the Hawks Board) due to ex-team mate premiership status and they get little respect from below (player list) because familiarity breeds contempt.
More so than any other club, the Hawks need a coach not part of the family because that will stamp out the nepotism that is killing them.
The only exception to this rule MIGHT be Lethal because the bloke has the mental strength and respect from all corners to cope.
The Pain of Discipline is Nothing Like The Pain of Disappointment
Eade will be a great coach if he ever gets another gig.
I think he suffered from the top-up syndrome post 96 which so many other teams have stuffed up on too.
At a more stable, long term club, he could do wonders.
Richmond will bite the bullet and rebuild next year, and eade would be a perfect fit.
