    Can Rogers Step Up

In my review of the Reserves Swans v Wagga Tigers match I
negleted to mention Aaron Rogers he kicked 3 goals and looked
good however I feel he may be one of those players who are
very good at reserves level but struggles when he steps up to the seniors anyone have any thoughts on this.
    cheers Ian

Powell did play he seemed to be playing in the midfield then
drifting back have to say I was disappointed with his efforts and
I would consider trading him given that he has had a few chances.
      cheers Ian

Rogers is a footballer, and I'm still confident that he'll make it. He may not be ready yet, but he wasn't really given the run that rookies need to settle in at the top level.
        We hate Anthony Rocca
        We hate Shannon Grant too
        We hate scumbag Gaspar
        But Leo WE LOVE YOU!

Thats a fair comment he is still young and big men take longer to mature it would be good to see him play a month in the forward
line probably not this year I guess time will tell.
          cheers Ian

Plus playing him exclusively in the backline in the 1sts did himno favours. I think Powell's younger than Rogers isn't he?

Rogers, unlike other Rookies, has been dumped by another club. He and Hunt are in the same boat from my point of view. He is up against it, unfortunately.

I agree playing Rogers in defence did not work out
Powell and Rogers were both taken in the 2001 draft as 17 year
olds I think their ages are fairly close.
                cheers Ian

Powell is younger by 2 months. They are both 20, now.

I have high hopes for him.

I saw that he could play at a resonable level against Collingwouldn't in a pre season game.

He's only 20, I think he'll get a couple more years to prove himself.
