    What was Roos thinking !

Why on earth did Schneider come straight back into the side ?

He was clearly not even close to being fit to play on Saturday. Roos must have been aware of that, so why play him ?

With the loss of LRT, Schneider inclusion could have potentially cost us the game. Very unRoos like, IMHO cannot see any rational reason for his inclusion, being that unfit he was never going to make an impact even from the bench. At least in the 2's he could have been given valuable game time to build his fitness without 4 premiership points on the line, makes absolutely no sense to me !

Having said that, Roos has coached a few more winning games in the AFL premiership than me ! Interested to see what others thought though ?

I thought it was a complete waste of time having him in the side - he should be running around in the reserves for a week or two to regain match fitness. Thewliss would have been much more useful.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

I think Roos thought Schneider would have a chance to contribute even without match fitness - just as Davis often does from sheer footy smarts. I don't think he expected that he would have forgotten how to play. But he seemed surprised at the speed things were happening around him. I hope those wonderful skills and reactions come back with match fitness.

If anything i would have thought the Davis experience would have taught him NOT to do it again.

Unfit players, of which Schneider was much further away than Davis, are a liability !

Todays game requires all players regardless of position to run with their opponent, Schneider and Davis were clearly unable to do that, let alone contribute in the plus column (no accounting nuance intended !)

Trying not to.... I just love watching him play.

After I re assessed this whole Schneider talk tonight I stand by what I have said; I wouldn't have put him in the 2s.

maybe it shows we thought carlton was going to be a walkover and so they decided he should play against a weaker team to be ready for the hard games?

                  WTF???

I don't think Roos would think the Blues would be a walk in the park. The Blues were playing to possibly get a position in the 8.
