    Top 5 Swans Players Ever

    I thought I might start up a forum/debate on everyone's top five Swans players of all time.

    For the record, my top five players in watching the Swans since 1978 are the following -

    1. Paul Kelly
    2. Greg Williams
    3. Tony Lockett
    4. Dennis Carroll
    5. Barry Mitchell

    Honourable mentiones go to Barry Round, Stevie Wright, Daryn Cresswell, Andrew Dunkley, Mark Bayes, Barry Hall & Gerard Healy.

            Skilton has to be in the top five and he is rated highly and as one of the all-time greats by anyone who played against him.

            The rest is a subjective exercise to an extent and a bit odious as it is hard comparing eras.

                      Agree! He was our only consitently good player for a few years there. A big stand out.

                      Another player that was always a standout was Denis Carroll. A thumping kick, on a small ground.

                            Williams Healy Kelly Lockett Bayes..no particular order

                            Just miss out .. Mitchell, Carroll, Dunkley, Cressa, Toohey (a personal favourite).

                            Honourable mentions Henwood, Ackerley, Evans, Wright, Capper.
