There were about 22 of them in the third quarter.

It seemed to me that every player went missing FOR PERIODS...even the ones who made an impact, like Tiger. Great goal, but he only had 4 or 6 touches in the first half. Willo was slightly beaten but he did still do some great things. McVeigh mixed some giant stuff ups with some sublime pick ups and delivery.

Bevansy would have spent a third of the game not touching it, a third making errors and a third being a match winner.

        Goodes the same.

Maxfield didn't seem to be playing for the first 15 minutes...then he turned the whole game on its ear in the 2nd quarter.

Their good players were good all day (like Kirk for us)

I am very optimistic about the team. Why? Because our four quarter effort has been so up and down. If we can just keep it up for a whole night we will destroy most other teams.

Collingwood and Carlton were chugging along evenly at 95% for the whole game. The scoring was down to OUR form. We have had so many monumental stuff ups over the past two weeks...yet we still beat opponents playing at their best. I'm keeping the faith that we are going to put it together.

if you want negatives, i know i have bagged him before and even though he had his best game ever for us, ablett racked up 14 touches in the first three quarters and didn't touch it at all in the last

We must have had a heap of passengers given that we played good football for only 20 minutes, ordinary football for 40 minutes and crap football for 20 minutes.

How long was he on the ground in the last quarter?

If you want Ablett added to the hate list, you'll have to do better than that!
