They just showed a profile on Bevan on Sports Tonight, his uncle was a famous Rugby (not sure inf union or league) player by the name of Brian Bevan.

My understanding is that Paul Bevan's father played for Canterbury Reserves BUT it is his uncle Brian who was a record try setter in the UK. He played for Eastern Suburbs in Sydney and Warrington .
Brian retired in 1962 and would have turned 80 a few weeks ago (now dead) Warrington named a Wall at their home ground after him on this day.
