Who exactly isn't he trusted by?

Terry Wallace is a highly respected AFL figure.

If he's being payed, it's a lot more than $250k.

If it did come out that he was being paid (despite the fact that there has never been any evidence suggesting as such), then I would do two things. The first would be to call for the resignation of each and every member of the board, effective the end of the season.

The second would be to send a letter to Paul Roos pleading with him to stay.

Don't really think it would make us the laughing stock - most people seem to believe that Roos is only coach because of people power and that Wallace had his flight booked to come up here already.

I think in the event it was proven, it would end Colless and Ireland's time with the Swans and Paul Roos would be hurt (he wouldn't resign though I don't think if Colless went).

I just hope that if this really is going to be revisited - that real paper evidence has been found and not just used as a vendetta by someone against Wallace's chances of coaching next year. (The timing is suspicous to me).

Saying some rich bugga is paying him, or that no paper work exists is a cop out. If it is true, there would be a very formal argreement somewhere. You just don't hand over a million dollars over 5 years without any agreement in place.

I guess in a way it shows (if true) that the board listened to the supporters at the financial expense at the club in the hope that support for the team would cover the costs

What matters to me is the way the team plays and the red and white. I couldn't care less if the Swans are paying Rex Hunt to smuggle cutlery onto aircraft or if Colless shot the dingo that ate Azaria.

Bloody hell this one has legs....this is the third time round for this story....and quite frankly it's even more boring third reprise than waiting for Matthew Lloyd to take a shot at goal. That Richmond hack Carro tried to run with this one the second time last year...and in fact, who tf cares? I couldn't give a stuff and say good on Terry if it is true...money for nothing is so hard to come by legally, unless, of course, you're a no-talent like say, Jason Cloke or Grease Shaw...
