Hey Julian - I think you guys passed me on the way down - I was heading to Wagga for a 40th b'day bash - and It was an interesting drive through the blizzard. Wagga was a very crisp -2 on Saturday night - not a good temp for an outdoor bash but we had a good time all the same!

Loved the fact that there are alot of shops down there that have Swans merchandise displayed in their windows (but then with Paul Kelly living there that may have something to do with it!)

Had breakfast next morning in the Scribblers Cafe which is owned by a maniac Swans fan - the reserves always have breakfast there after they have played in Wagga. The first thing I saw when I entered was a Swans scarf tied aroung the banister - I decided that this was the place to be!

Was ever so tempted to keep driving down to Geelong, but whimped out - so broke land speed records to get back to Sydney in time to watch the game - got in at 1.05pm!

So glad that you guys had a great time and that you arrived there and home safely.

have a good week and safe travelling for those heading to WA
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Thanks Wardy. Glad to see you got through the blizzard OK. You should have waved though.

I had my Swans scarf and cap on the front dashboard. Got a few smiles at Yass as we headed into Melbourne, which is always nice.

Naturally I'm a tad cut-up about Russell at the moment. But am looking forward to 5 days off in sunny WA.

At the moment Pete would be staying in a tent on the Nullabor. He aims to get in to Perth on Thursday night.

Aim already in contact with our awesome WA Supporters Club.

My scarf is on the back dash board, in the red car with the Members sticker on the back - but it was a blizzard we were going through so I was concentrating on that!

Anyway - safe travellling and have a ball!
