I am sure if the right trade came along then the Swans may look at trading Fosdike, but in all reality he is not going to get us a first rounder or a player such as Mark McVeigh.
If that is the case then it is better to hang onto him and see if he is able to produce more consistently.

Sheedy would be laughing at us again if we traded Fossie for McVeigh
Whilst i'll take McVeigh if he wants to come for a 3rd or 4th rounder (we have the bargaining power here), we already have a heap of similar types.
Fossie is much greater value to us (even with his inconsistencies) as McVeigh is not a midfielderComment

i didnt realise fosdike was as young as he is
if we trade him he may come good at another club and make us look stupidTheres not much left to sayComment

For all my feelings that Fossie is not ever going to be good enough to be a gun midfielder in a premiership team...he is better than Mark McVeigh. He can be played as a forward pocket or relief midfielder. Mcveigh can't."I'll acknowledge there are more talented teams in the competition but I won't acknowledge that there is a better team in the competition" Paul Roos March 2005Comment

If he is going to stay around, Fosdike should be a forward pocket. He aint a midfielder, and would be better than Schneider or Buchanon at the moment.
He did play alright as a forward pocket one game this year.
Unless we can get a good trade for him, we must find a place for him outside the midfield, where his presence hurts us more than helps us.Comment

IMO i think we should hold onto Fosdike unless we get an outragous deal 4 him. He is so young and we can see so much potential i think one day he will be a great club playerComment
