    brownlow

Just a bit of bragging but have just checked my sportsbet ticket from march19 when i placed 50 bucks on Hally for brownlow at odds of 76-1,now his odds are under ten dollars, somehow still dont like my chances though as it seems when Barry gets near the ball he becomes invisible to the umpires.

Probably a good bet. He polled well last year and the umpires certainly notice him. They just think he doesn't need their help - that may be a good thing.

omg!! I was keen to put on $20 on Bazza about 2-3 months ago but cos im not 18 for another week or so i cant!! I told a few mates to put some on when he was about 60-1 and they put 5 on. I reckon he will be a favourite. There are few players this season to poach votes off him and you can say that he doesnt get frees and the umps hate him....but Plugger won it in 87 didnt he??

It would be great if Hall won the Brownlow although, which the Swans have a habit of winning but not the Big one, I think 25-35 will win the Brownlow this year the way Judd, Riccuito, Rewoldt and Lappin are playing.

If I was to give a rough estimate on voting to this stage of the year it would be -

          Judd - 25 votes
          Lappin - 23 votes
          Riccuito - 22 votes
          Rewoldt - 19 votes
          Hall - 16 votes

As West Coast will fade and Judd might fade himself considering he has carried the midfield this year at the Eagles, get on Lappin or Riccuito.

Jeff White has probably had the biggest impact so far. Or Yze.

Simon Black has also been handy. I doubt Baz will get enough votes although it would be great to see.

I think Barry Hall is leading the ABC Radio award, or close to it. Last I heard (round 15) he was in front.

Not a bad estimate there, but essentially the tally is too high with only 16 rounds played. I've been keeping a tally based on newspapers' and other media's 'best' lists and it reads as follows:

                18 - Judd
                16 - Tredrea, Hall
13 - Hayes, Bell, Fevola, Richardson
                12 - Ricciuto, Black, Gehrig

Ricciuto is a stand out player, and us much as i would love to see him win back to back i dont think he will.

id put my money on Lappin....the only one in the fab four yet to win. and anyone in the brisbane line up is bound to poll well...unless of course they steal the votes off each other.

Other than that i would put money on Judd, or Riewoldt.

it was a three way tie, and you do realise that if the brownlow was awarded in the same was as years gone by then by a countback the roo woulda won.

ive had the arguement with manic swans supporters like yourself time and time again so lets just agree to disagree....but as long as we all agree that buckley didnt deserve it.

This may be Whites problem, Yze may take Votes off him. Where as with Hall he has not had a great deal of competition within the team, Except Kirk a few times, And ROK may get the votes ahead of him against the Cats!!
