Does anyone else think that Goodes may struggle with the job on Pavlich?Imo He was second behind Goodes last season as the most mobile free running tall man in the comp, however with Goodes and his knees i think Pavlich may really show just how much the injuries are hampering Goodes.who else could do the job?Schauble not mobile enough and probably still a bit underdone, maybe B2 but i think he will struggle with the height difference.Any suggestions?

I think Pavlich will smash Goodes. The only option I can see we have is C Bolton, but size is going to make it very tough. Shauble will probably be needed to go on Simmonds.
A possibility is for Schauble to go on Pavlich and Goodes on Simmonds. However I don't think Schauble has the leg speed or Goodes the ability to stop a big marking player one-out.Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

As good as Barry is, he just doesn't have the height to cope with Simmonds. There is a 12cm difference, which I think is also exagerrated by the way Simmonds likes to mark tall over his head. Very tough for Barry to spoil that.
This would be a good time to have someone like Saddington in. He has the height, so we could have thrown him onto Pavlich or Simmonds to see how he goes.
Alternatively, I would have though Heath James could have been useful too.Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Goodes will go with Simmonds. Thats the only reason we are taking him. Both are tall and immobile so should cancel each other out.
Depends where Pavlich plays. If he goes forward Leo Barry would be worth a bet, if he goes midfield, then not sure.Comment

Craig Bolton had him last time and did reasonably okay. Leo tends to get Medhurst and Crouch on Farmer, and I would like to think Schauble/Goodes will get Longmuir/Simmonds.Comment

I'm almost positive that Saddo had him for at least a decent part of the earlier match, and did pretty well on him. It's times like these where you'd love someone with the height and mobility of Saddington...Comment

I was thinking that Bolton would be the player for Pavlich. Can play defence or has the legs to run with a bit and can play above his height.
The thought of Goodesy playing on Pav sent chills up my spine, Pav can turn on a 10 cent piece, where as Goodes will now be using something more like the centre circle with two dicky knees (or does one cancel the other out)
I can't remember, who did Bevan pick up last time?
I'm also looking forward to Crouch shutting down and frustrating the Wizz again. Here's my heart and you can break it
I need some release, release, release
