When The Wiz gets fired up on Saturday, onlooking Sydney players will struggle to stick to the game plan.I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

I thought that was an outstandingly good article. If any Docker fans from that site read this, please pass on my congratulations for an extremely well written and amusing article.
In all seriousness, I suspect Docker fans and players are taking this game very seriously. They know it is important to win - a classic 8 pt game and they have been struggling at home.
Freo seem to match up quite well against us and it should be a good game.
I find it disappointing to barrack for a side where the common view is "The Sydney Swans. They're the biggest mystery in the AFL. Very few people have actually seen them play a game this season. Many have tried, but anyone who has made it through the first half without paying a visit to noddy land has found their way to the top of a tall building and then taken the fasted route to the bottom."
Have to say - I find our games intensely boring, frustrating, anxious and painful to watch (as football games that is).
If we were winning and up near the top of the ladder it would be different, but we aren't.Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

I reckon it's impossible to truely enjoy a game of football if you are sufficiently emotionally involved. If I had the option of pressing a magic button at the opening bounce that makes time zip forward to the final siren in an instant, I would take it every time (having said that, I wouldn't give up the experiences I've had, good or bad)
Anyway. To get it back on topic - the opposition can think whatever they want about our style of play. The only thing that matters is who is in front when that final siren goes.
177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

Surely tongue in cheek stuff, if it isn't I hope the Dockers are thinking along the same lines because if they do the Dockers will face there 6th straight loss at home.Comment

I have not enjoyed any of our games this year. The crows game and the stoppages started giving me heartburn and i rather watch grass grow or paint dry to be honest.
Yet last year was a complete contrast.Comment

He is the best player in the league for putting off his game.
Hopefully he will provide us all some entertainment value today. As I'll be trying to needle him, that's for sure.
