Will we see McVeigh play today?

It just makes me wonder... he has been flown all the way to Perth just as an emergency. It will not surprise me to see him in place of a player with "gastro" or some sudden new illness.
    Thoughts?

When travelling long distances like that, clubs take a travelling emergency so that if a player wakes up with a problem on the morning of the game or something, they have a replacement available - its simply too far to be able to get someone over in time otherwise.

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

He played him alright. When it was too bloody late as usual.

He is the best potentialled midfielder we have, why the hell he doesn't leave him on all game has got me stumped.

Why is it we take years to develop young footballers. When it is obvious they have got talent bring them on. Did it with Bevan, why not McVeigh.

The more I see of McVeigh the more I like him as a player . THe trouble is that he has been givn limited game time up till now. He has good skills and composure and is not afraid to mix it even with his relatively frame. He is well suited to playing on the open spaces kike Subi and the MCG. I hope that he spends more time on the paddock in future.

One other point is I THINK IT IS ABOUT TIME THAT THE FUTULITY OF PLAYING HALF FIT PLAYERS IS RECOGNISED by the coaching staff.

I honestly feel that one of our biggest problems at the moment is the lack of a linkman on the wing coming out of defence. Give Jarrad a wing for the rest of the season and see what he can do.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Just one example (and he is not the only one that is really struggling) is Schneider. Compare his output from the 5 games he played before tearing his hammy and since he has come back into the side. You could use the excuse that he is getting less game time, but that's partly because he isn't match fit.
