A better 3rd quarter, but our defence didn't stand up in that quarter - 5.1 apiece.
Why oh why do we keep insisting on running the ball out of defence with handballs - it has killed us either through missed targets or tackles and getting caught HTB.
I just hope Micky hasn't done anything serious - would just cap off an awful day.

Roos should call Connolly's bluff - instruct Goodes to follow Polak down into the forward line.
I'd just tell Goodesy to stand on a designated flank and direct the ball either to him or to Barry if he is 1 on 1.
You can't just let Polak do as he pleases. I don't care if that means more numbers in the forward 50 - Goodesy might even get a goal or 2.
And I will bring out my old chestnut - FFS put Kennelly into the forward line.

I would say we run it out of defence through handballs because we don't have enough options presenting themselves on the lead. Freo, esp through Malaxos, know this and have pressured us all day.Comment
