    Oh well at least well stay in the top 8.......................

    ........only by 2 points I might add

    Look poor effort by the boys in the first half which wasn't helped by the stupid umpiring which seems to get worse week to week. The 2nd half at least shows we can play some good football, but to make the finals from here will take some effort, hard work and some better umpiring.

      Not sure which is the worst from that game:
      * Our awful first half
      * The pathetic umpiring
      * The biased Fox commentary
      * Having to listen to the awful funeral march that is the Freo team song

        We did manage to win the 2nd half by 14 points, even though we tried our hardest to stuff it up with incredibly sloppy and ineffective disposal of the football. I thought Bevan was good late in that last quarter, and Nicksy brought back some nostalgic memories playing well on Medhurst on a HBF. Other than that, nothing much to cheer about, even Kirky had some shockers today. I hope Micky and Willo are all right for next week. We'll need them or we'll get pumped by the Lions.

          Yep the umpiring was bad,but the way we played in the first half we still deserved to be 40 points down.Im amazed at people saying Maxfield played well what a joke,he got the ball heaps yeah but what did he do with it?An under tens player should have kicked that snap in the last quarter,not to mention his passing,absolutely deploreable.

            Goodesy to CHF - I know it is a harder position to play but at least the ball SHOULD be directed to you.

            He should be able to run straighter at the ball - not easy when the opposition is trying to kick it to your opponent at CHB.

            I reckon he did look a bit better in the last 1/4 though. Leo Barry was lost today - I would put him on Bradshaw next week.

              Hi, you pathetic loosers, that would still follow Swans.
              I've decided to post my last message on R&W and join another club. After 10 years, ydney Swans are not worth it.

                That was unbelievably crap. Surely the apologists have run out of positive spins for the side now. We have been poor all year, and the struggling wins against weak sides were a clear sign. Playing against teams in the lower half of the eight, we have come up short. Our skills were woeful, our endeavour fleeting, our run slow and patchy, and our game plan, or execution thereof, poor.

                  Our kicking was the worst facet IMO - we turned it over by foot so many times.

                  We are a 'good ordinary' side - pure and simple.

                  ...having said that we will probably beat Brisbane next up!

                    You know, that's exactly what I was thinking. Should go and put some money on for next week.

                      What we have a gameplan

                      Could of fooled me. I say we are playing as good as anytime during the later years of the Rodney Eade era - all over the ****ing place.

                      Whatever happened to the direct football right up the middle and away from the boundry lines???? God I wish for that once again.

                          That torp was one of only two highlights.

                          The other was the continuing good form of Nicks, which is great to see considering the problems he had with his back that almost finished him.

                          Chanced his arm when he went down back and managed to cut across Medhurst on a number of occasions to help out.

                          Used the ball well (something the rest of the team had trouble with).

                              Agree NMW, we are a pure mediocre side. We espouse everything that mediocrity stands for.

                                For once in my life I am disappointed in Bazza. I was hoping for a smashed handset.

                                The only thing I loved about the last days of Rocket was the handset smashing!
