The best things today were
-Michelle the Swans hussey
-the support from the WA Supporters Club. If you didn't see much on the TV, you'd have seen us all leaping up after a last quarter goal.
-the Freo fans razzing Barry and roaring when the phone was chucked.
-Goodesey's run
-Tadgh's screw punt.
-Mick O'Laughlin's cousins being at the game.

pffft another pathetic display. This might sound negative but half way through the game I was pleased that the boys were putting a mediocre performances to show you spin doctors how crap we really are.

We did peak last year and I don't think this current crop of players will ever bring us a flag.

Goodes should be rested for the rest of the year. Whats the point? Does he not want to lose his consecutive games personal achievement or something? At best with his injuries atm he would be lucky to get a run in the 2nds.

And Premiership teams do not have players like Ablett in them. Except if your name is Garry, even he couldnt win a flag.

b/c roos decided to tag the whole of the friggen freo side and play a defensive game.

He let freo play on their terms in the first half. It was pathetic to watch.

We have gone from an attacking side to a defensive unit. We play the same brand of footy that Eade used to employ.

We won't get far.

Pfft what the hell is a screw punt,is that another americanism.Played and followed footy for 28yrs and never heard anyone call it that,is it a nrl saying.The kick was a spiral torpedo punt or torp is most common.Just never heard it called that before.

Why not put Micky O'Laughlin at FF? He can't run much and is not only a great forward line rover but is tall enough to be a good overhead mark.

I think Barry gets the ****s when he gets double-teamed at FF. (Especially when he is being manhandled like against Freo) He was better and far less of a ball-hog at CHF last season.

Why not give this a try, and have Nicksey and O'Keefe on HF flanks.
