Goodes?

Surely he has to be rested.
Just isn't running well and really most of the time he is a liability.

We do either two things.
Either:

a) REST HIM!!

b) Do not play him in defense

He is really costing us at the moment down there.
These are the ins and outs I would consider for next weeks game...

Yep, Goodesy to CHF as I said in the game thread.

I agree about Schneider he is just not right. I would give McGlone a run ahead of Thewlis purely because if we don't he will be gone next year.

Let's see what he is made of.

The injuries are clearly effecting big time, whether we should rest him or not is a tough question to answer. I personally wouldn't rest him unless our season was well and truelly over (and it isn't). If we do have him in the team we must use him well and in defence it just isn't working at the moment. I don't know why we didn't push him into the middle or a wing late in the 2nd quarter, from there he is impossible to match up on.

As for who I would bring in next week I would go for Dempster for either Ablett or Schneider

Rest him or play him up forward. Bring Heath James in and he can take Goodesy's position down back.

Why??? He has shown time and time and time and time again he just isn't cut out for CHF or anywhere in the forward line for that matter. If I was Roos, I would try him in the centre with Kirk and Jude or play him on a wing to just float between half back and half forward. One things clear about Goodes - we miss his impact on matches something one can't do at CHF or CHB.

I doubt they will drop Schneider now when they should have already, but I agree drop him to the seconds, let him find some fitness and form and therefore give either Dempster, Thewlis or McGlone a chance to prove themselves in the seniors.

As for losing McGlone, no chance of that happening if we want to keep him. More than likely he'll end up back on the rookie list next season.
