And he must have known that other on-ballers such as Willo were struggling with their fitness.
Surely Nicky D spends as much time in the midfield as Schneider in the first games back from injury?

Nicky D showed in round 5 against Melbourne why you would consider bringing him straight back into the side, he floated around the forward line and kicked a lazy 4.1. I don't think it was so much coming straight back into the seniors that was the issue against Port, it was more that he just should not have been playing at all...
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

      h.james 2
      m.powell 2
      r.warfe 2
      j.willoughby 1

For those interested, in the latest game Warfe got 1 vote and Dempster 3 votes.
      What is this exactly ??
If this is a vote count then why does it not correlate to the BOG list somone else posted, which did not include Mcglone ?

Err... because it is the season's cumulative 3-2-1 votes

I was looking at the results from the sportingpulse website, and noticed they gave 3-2-1 votes a la the Brownlow medal for each game. I just tallied up the Swans votes. I hope that clears up the confusion. IIRC, McGlone's 6 votes came from 2 BOG performances.

I would not certainly read much into this. I havent seen McGlone played but if he is accumulating that many positions but yet got a game, then it is a clear posibility that here is a substantial defficiency in his game.

Simon Arnot once did win the VFL best player of the year and yet he was ordinary. Best reserve players in Melbourne AFL clubs are often the one got chopped off once the season is so over.

Surely Davis has gotta play, park him in the forward pocket for the whole game, fitness won't be an issue.
