Nicks in the back line

I thought mathew nicks in the back line was absolutely fantastic. Provides a great extra option for a struggling defender. I think it was Bevan that ended up going to the forward line because he couldnt handle farmer.

Also, schneides has to get a few runs in the reserves. A real moral boost is if we win next week against brisbane.

I agree that was one moved which worked. McVeigh did all right in the last quarter. We desperately needed some talls and they weren't there. Add the clangers, injuries, first half and the biassed umpiring and you have a disappointing game.

I cant believe that Nicks is not listed in the Best in any newspaper report I've seen today. I thought he oozed class at both ends of the ground, and his 2nd & 3rd efforts to make tackle after tackle have been excellent in the last 2 games. Chuck him on a HB flank, and move Kennelly to the wing.

Has pretty much demanded a place on next year's list.

Agreed, definitely gives one of our half backs the opportunity to go in the center line. We have heaps of backs who can run.

Nicks has worked really hard for weeks now. We need him next year for sure.

it wasnt long ago nicks got to captain the club when kelly was injured and dunkley must of been as well. and he was a key player in our defence... i think hes comming back to that level
