Swans - Flogging A Dead Horse

Has anyone come across the site:

    Any thoughts on the following:

Despite generous recruiting and salary cap concessions, the Swans have been unable to break their losing culture. Even more concerning, despite being the only AFL club in a city of 4 million people, the Swans struggle to draw a crowd in excess of 25,000. There is very little passion in Swans fans. When the team starts losing or if it rains, fans find other things to do.

I love how these people fail to mention we are up against 8 (9 if you include the Knights) NRL clubs, the NSW Waratahs and Union in general, and up until Soccer imploded, the NSL clubs.

No southern stater can possibly understand the market we are in.

I do think we do have a large fairweather base....HOWEVER, after 11,000 turned up to Hawks V Power, and 20,000 to Kangas and Hawthorn. I don't think we are exactly in the minority.

I agree Damien, however the continuing losing culture is a real concern unfortunately.
