Did anyone make it there tonight? I would have loved to, except that I was working. Anything interesting (other than Schneider apparently redoing his hammie...more sad than interesting) to report?
Night for the fans

I rushed from work to be there and got there at around 620ish. People were leaving and had rather unimpressed looks on their faces.Originally posted by Bron
Have just prepared a report and it will hit the site soon!
From what I hear Roos called a 4pm training session, whivch meant that the players were finishing when the fans started to arrive. If that is the case then that is disgusting. As there were fans from Sutherland and Wollongong there.
Can anyone please fuill me in on what I missed?

PS:- Had my footy in my bag and never got to kick it. :-("Never ever ever state that Sydney is gone. They are like cockroaches in the aftermath of a nuclear war"

I must have just missed you JF. That was about the time I left.
Hope you still got a pie. Plenty available. They apparently overcatered several times over.
It was a pretty dull training session. Seemed like a lot of players were still in street clothes along the boundary. If you wanted autographs or a photo there was excellent access though. Just wait by the fence as they worked there way along.
The senior players finished actual training well before six. After that it was just the rookies and ring-ins out there (ie the "twos")
I didn't see any sign of Bazza, maybe he was meditating to get good karma for Sat.
Didn't see anyone I knew apart from Bron (who was handing out the pies). Planning a change of profession Bron?Comment

Yeah it was the U18's Sydney development squad. And apart from a few stand outs, to be brutally honest they didn't fill me with a huge amount of confidence for the future. The senior players finished actual training well before six. Their only 16 year olds mate.Yeah it was the U18's Sydney development squad. And apart from a few stand outs, to be brutally honest they didn't fill me with a huge amount of confidence for the future- Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!Comment

We got there at 5pm and saw a little bit of training before doing pie duty until well after 6pm, probably 6.15pm. Bazza was in the early training that we saw which was a lot of goal kicking practice.Originally posted by j s

After the pies, we headed off to the member-get-member function. Again, no sign of Bazza and there were no more than a dozen players there. But, those who were there were very approachable (as always).Dream, believe, achieve!Comment
