    Colless slams umpires.

Just read in the Melbourne paper that Colless had a go at last night's umpiring saying it was shocking and very biased. He said they were upset about the last 2 games as well but didn't complain as it would have sounded like sour grapes after losing. He mentioned there is a very strong bias against Sydney and that the figures support this. They are expecting a big fine but maybe it will have some effect - probably not. I think most Swans fans would happily contribute as this going on week after week is very frustrating.

The Swans should charge a voluntary levy on next years membership so Swans officials can afford to put our view across re the umpires.

      Glad Colless said something.

I think we needed to cop a fine to get into the paper.

Next step: Maxfield on Footy Show.

Well we all know what happens after you pay the fine, & do the time. You cruise along, right ..

Simply , the umpires were getting into the Heritage spirit in tribute to the first-ever umpire.

Their performance last night was certainly "Crapp".

I loved after the umpires gave a dodgy free for the Lions 3rd goal, we replied within 30 seconds and the Lurker and I got up and gave the umpires the bird with both barrels. That was sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!

                Umpires

Pleased to hear Colless speak out against them. Enough is enough. This year they have been dreadful against the Swans. Here's a link to an article re what Colless said.

Still smiling about yesterday's win. I wanna feel this way all the way through August and September.

Great that Colless is speaking out about this, now if it actually does something apart from copping a fine is another matter

There was a woman near the corner of the Noble concourse who gave the umpires a piece of her mind very strongly as they left at half-time. Might have been others too but she was the one I noticed.

Colless has obviously decided that speaking out is the only way to get anywhere and better him than Roos.

how can we support Colless words and thoughts? More needs to be said - unbelievable last night - they are getting worse. I would be worried if I was Brisbane as most of their scores came from free kicks.

Gee I didn't think it was quite as bad as the 2 previous weeks. It probably looked worse due to the frees dead in front.

There was one patch in the 2ndQ when Brisbane got 5 frees in the space of about 2 minutes for very soft infringements.

Just watched WC and Bulldogs and saw a real shocker. WC player pushes Bulldogs player who pushes him back. WC player ducks and Bulldogs player does an airey on his boofed/spiked haircut and gets pinged for too high. It was at a stoppage and was absolutely laughable.

Matera pushes and punches Hargreaves 3 times at a stoppage, Hargreaves replies with a neat short right to the jaw. Umpire off the play pays a free to Matera!!!! And he didn't see the 3 that Matera threw first. Hargreaves says "what about his 3 cheap shots" or something like that. Gets 50. Laughable rabble.

I heard that Colless was waiting for a win to complain. So that the 'sore loser' tag couldn't be added.
