    ......... cunning plan

Neat idea that appeared to pay dividends on the weekend :

"Sydney's reserve side acted in the role of the most lethal team in the competition. The back-up Swans wore the same numbers as the senior side's nemeses, some players even turning method actors by embracing the character traits of certain Brisbane players. Adding to the realism were the cries of, "Get on Voss, get on Voss!" that rang out across the SCG last Thursday."

Although I always wonder if we will suffer a let down the following week if we overdo special preparation for big games.

After reading that articleI was wondering why it took so long for the coaching staff to tell the young blokes to play like Voss or Lappin or Black. They should have told them to play like that all the time.It has cost us a premiership this year.

The question is, which young bloke is walking around with shock blonde hair on his head, a stupid grin on his face, and a massive chip on his shoulder?

And the "most lethal team in the competition" did their part by playing like the Swans reserves on the weekend!
