    Secret of success against Lions

    Forget the fab 5.
Forget Alastair Lynch in the goal square.

The reason we won was because Martin Pike was kept to 9 touches and not a single scoring shot.

He is their secret weapon and well done to Roosy for making sure he was kept quiet.

    Great work by C Bolton!
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

I think Pike is showing lots of signs of decline, he would struggle in a poor team. The key to beating them was to deprive them of possession, and when they had the ball denying them space.

Scoring shots was the big thing. Brilliant work by us there.

Pike was around his average possessions though - he only averages 12 a match.

he was in my top three for this exact reason. I just love it when he stands tall against his former club
