AFL Players consider Roos to be 2nd best coach

I think Wallace is a fantastic coach.

He gets the best out of his players and is a great promoter of his club and the game.

I hope he does really well at Ricmond or Hawthorn. (Just not beat us )

Wallace I thank for not coming to the Swans. We don't want him ever. Hope he gets a job somewhere else - so stays out of our way.
He does think he is the best - and loves getting himself in front of the media whether on Fox or just being interviewed.
Our players would have no respect for him and certainly have it for Paul Roos.

I think Wallace is a very astute and knows what he's talking about. He was snapped up by the media when he left the Bulldogs for just reason. He would have to be one of the most respected special comments person out there.

As for the players not respecting him? The players may have liked and respected Roos more, but I doubt that they would not have respected Wallace. In the very least they would have treated him with the respect due one with his credentials.

having said that I wanted Roos and am glad we have him.

So its the players who decide who the coach is going to be, and I think you are way off the mark in regards to the respect the players would of given Wallace.
