First Trip Some Advice re Parking

We are all set but we are tossing up whether to drive or walk
staying at the Gemini in Randwick we believe it is around a 10
minute walk to the ground but I have a parking voucher so if the
crowd is not too bad we might drive hope to get to the ground
before 6 pm any thoughts would be great.

I would say more like a 20 min walk. Last time I parked at the ground it took 20 mins just to get to the exit!

Well I reckon it's a 30min walk, I would suggest getting a bus. You can get a bus from across the road from the Gemini, takes about 10 mins by bus.

Parking is available at Sydney Girls High School for $10 per car
The school is on the corner of Cleveland and Anzac Parade - enter via Anzac parade - straight across to SCG

If you are going before six - my suggestion is to just drive there.

To beat the traffic at the end of the game, just go to the after match function for a while.

On the voucher it just says Wilson Parking voucher Moore park
South or North I suspect according to the map the Swans have

definitely the way to go. when you're going home walk northwards to the city to catch a bus back to randwick as you can wait a long time watching full buses go by if you're on the wrong side of the exiting crowds.

we sat in the car for 45 minutes last week trying to get out of the car park. was thinking about the am but mouth was giving me hell so we decided to leave. HA could've and should've gone to the am.

If you're busing it you wont need to worry about that and you can also enjoy a drink without worrying.

Also Moore park area can get very congested with traffic if you're arriving from 6 onwards.

Or you can park free on Robertson Rd - turn right at the set of lights AFTER the entrance to Fox if you're coming from the Anzac Pde side.

I wouldn't park here in a fit! The attendents are happy to take your $10 and corral you in, but after the game there is no-one to be seen. It's an absolute shambles trying to get out as everyone makes their own route to the exit. A forty minute wait is not much fun when you've had a few beers during the game!

I'd suggest either parking at Fox Studios or, if it's a nice night, stretch the legs and take the 15 minute walk.
