    Tragedy ...

Apparently a Sydney trainer has past away from a heart failure at the ground ... just a msg posted on another forum ...

Could this have perhaps effected the players? (not making excuses for the performance)

Definitely not a joke. Apparently it was reported on Channel 10.

I was feeling really bad because of the loss until I read this message. It puts everything into perspective. My deepest condolences go out to his family and the club.

Cher said that about 10 mins b4 the end of the game they put a thing on the scoreboard saying thet kick to kick was cancelled so I suppose you can only summise that it happened sometime b4 that.

Obviously this had no affect on the players during the game.

One wonders whether the over-excitment and anxious moments of the last qtr may actually have done it.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

How can you know this, from what I heard there was some pretty heavy medical work going on along the boundary line. Maybe Peter H can enlighten us more as from what I have heard he was pretty close by.

Look who knows if this was a contributing factor, it us just plain plain SAD.

That's a very cheap shot. Who says would have known about it during the game, and even if they did, its hardly something that would inspire you.

                              Where exactly did it happen??

On the ground or on the boundry??

When exactly were the players crying??
